As a leader in the California School Employees Association (CSEA), I've served as Chapter President, Regional Representative, and State Director. I've always put employees first, and I'm pound to currently serve on CSEA's Board of Directors, representing 25,000 school employees in San Diego and Imperial Counties.As an experienced fiduciary with certificates from the Harvard School of Business and the American Management Association, I help guide CSEA's strategic investments and protect the union's pension plan through my role on the CSEA Investments Committee, which is currently 100% funded. I also serve on the Dorothy Bjork Assistance Fund Committee, leading CSEA's philanthropic efforts to support members facing financial hardship.<h3>My passion for protecting pensions is deeply personal.</h3>When my father suffered a career-ending injury without a pension or savings, I saw firsthand the financial struggles that followed. In contrast, my mother—a CalPERS member—was able to retire with dignity and stability. That experience drives my commitment to defending the pensions we’ve earned as public employees.As your representative on the CalPERS Board, I will bring respect, reason, and responsibility to the CalPERS Board. I will fight to protect our pensions from attacks, strengthen the fund’s investments, and fight for affordable retiree healthcare—so every public employee can retire with the security they deserve.A graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Psychology, I currently work as a Senior Administrative Assistant with Sweetwater Union High School District in Chula Vista. Outside of work, I enjoy hockey, traveling, Disneyland, and exploring new restaurants with friends and family.I would be honored to earn your support and represent you on the CalPERS Board. Together, we can ensure a strong, secure future for all public employees.
